Paph. delenatii may be the cutest slipper orchid from the jungles of Vietnam! Its round pink-white flower with its puffy pouch makes it a favorite amongst slipper orchid enthusiasts. The blooms also produce a mild fragrance reminiscent of raspberries! Besides its adorable flower, P. delenatii makes an excellent foliage plant with its intricate mottled pattern on the surface of the leaves, and purple coloration on the underside. It looks and feels so exotic, but it is actually quite easy to grow and bloom, having been line-bred over the past 30+ years and selected for vigor and color. Plants are compact, which is a plus for collections with limited space. If you’re looking to get into slipper orchids, this is an excellent choice to add to your collection.
