It is your destiny to grow this orchid. After all, that’s what ‘Kismet’ means, fate or destiny. The word is actually a Turkish word, and when used in English, enhances the allure of the thing so named (most of the time these days, it’s a cafe or restaurant with ‘kismet’ in the name). Miltassia Kismet ‘Kind Kai’ is an alluring orchid whose blossoms produce a sweet, delightful fragrance. It is hardy, easy to grow, and easy to bloom. Its bronze-colored flowers distinguish Mtssa Kismet ‘Kind Kai’ from most others in the Miltassia grouping, which lean heavily toward the purple (and are lovely in their own right!).
This orchid is a vigorous grower. It can reach Blooming Size in 3.25-inch square pots, and will grow well in bark or moss media. Bright shady conditions and minimum temperatures above 50 F will result in excellent growth and blooming.
