We usually only have the seedling-size plants in 2.25-inch pots available, but now and then we might have larger ones available.

Dendrobiums are the second-largest genus of orchids, with around 1500 known species spread throughout many different climate zones in Asia and the South Pacific region. Over the past 100 years, Orchid breeders have bred many tens of thousands of different Dendrobium hybrids, with those in the nobile grouping being especially popular for the wide range of colors available, their ease of growth, and prolific blooming. A Dendrobium nobile-type hybrid is great for beginners, as they’re easy to grow, especially in warmer areas.
How to grow nobile-type Dendrobium hybrids::
1) Bright shady conditions (although avoid prolonged direct sun)
2) Water once to twice a week during the growing season; let dry between waterings
3) Use bark or sphagnum moss for plenty of aeration at the roots (or grow them mounted)
4) Fertilize twice per month
5) Avoid temps below 55 F; temps into the 90s F or even over 100 F are tolerable if kept shady and well-watered
